Proud to be leading Exeter City Council and supporting Steve Race, Exeter’s Labour Member of Parliament.
No one should have to sleep on the streets.

That’s why we welcome Labour’s announcement that Exeter will receive £1.9 million in homelessness prevention funding and that everyone sleeping rough in our city will be given a route off the streets this winter.

Lovely to be back on the @exeterlabour.bsky.social #laboursoorstep today with @steveracemp.bsky.social & our wonderful local councillors. Overwhelming support for Keir’s approach to Iran & real concern about what a Reform, Tory or Green Government would be doing in these circumstances.

We are exceptionally proud to be building council homes of the highest quality across the city. Our new homes are built to Passivhaus standard, meaning we’re leading the way with innovative, environmentally friendly house-building to lower bills and meet our ambitious climate goals 🏡

Spound call by Exeter City Council. It would have been a total waste of council officers’ time & public money to hold this year’s
annual elections for a third of seats when there will be all-out elections to the new unitary council next year www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
'Zombie administration' accusation as Exeter elections cancelled
The council's leader said cancelling would save money and allow staff to focus on reorganisation.

Great morning of canvassing in St Thomas yesterday followed by an afternoon enjoying the Love St Thomas Summer Festival, organised and run by an incredible team of community volunteers.

Our Labour MP, local councillors and volunteers knock on doors all year round, not just election times!

A well-deserved honorary doctorate from @exeter.ac.uk for Dr Ben Bradshaw 🎓

27 years as our Member of Parliament, the first openly gay MP to be elected - alongside Stephen Twigg - and a great friend and confidante to so many of us in Exeter Labour.

Congratulations, @benbradshaw.bsky.social!

At the weekend, we celebrated The Beacon’s 10th birthday. Originally a Sure Start centre, the team stepped in when funding ended to make it the success it is today.

We are thrilled that Labour is bringing back Sure Start-style services that the Tories dismantled. @steveracemp.bsky.social
