go save another kingdom!!

@foxes-in-love.bsky.social flashback from August 2020
Foxes in Love comic, originally published on 1 August 2020 A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one Green is watching Blue play a game on his device. Green: I'm suspicious of videogames. Blue: Just try it. Green moves over to try it himself. Green: What does this button do? Blue: It kills you Instantly. 5 hours later, the game announces cheerily. “Congratulations! You saved the kingdom!” A golden crown suddenly appears on top of Green’s head. Blue: You finished it! What do you want to do next? Green, with the crown on still: I want to try the other storyline.

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Green approaches Blue, who listens intently. Green: I haven't been spending enough time with you. Green sits down opposite of Blue. Green: How about we take the afternoon to do things together? You choose. Blue looks visibly excited, and Green leans in towards him. Blue: Anything? Green: Anything you like. Blue rushes off in delight, while Green remains sitting, watching him go with an unreadable expression on his face. Blue: Let's set up your controller, we're going to play that game you promised to try.

Recent(ish) design sheets I've done for the Sonic comics. Some text on Blackwood and Dapple's pages was removed as it referenced an earlier version of the story and was no longer accurate. Soleil/Lunar's sheet was done before the difference between them was fully figured out, thus the single name
Model sheet for Blackwood the Ermine Model Sheet for Dapple the Doe Model sheet for Soleil and Lunar the sugar glider

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue is calmly sitting on his computer when he is startled by noises that sound somewhere between coughing and choking. Alarmed, he rushes to investigate. Blue: Green? Are you okay? Blue finds Green on his back on the floor, evidently shaken up but otherwise unharmed. Green: I somehow swallowed spittle wrong.

A comic of two foxes, one of whom is blue, the other is green. In this one, Blue and Green are sitting at a table, in front of a game board set up with several character figurines and various pieces of landscape terrain. On the table is also a measuring tape and a scattering of dice. Green: Okay, that makes six. How many points did we need to dodge that strike? Blue: Eight. Green: Oof. Both of the foxes look at the board pensively. Blue: I guess that concludes the campaign. Another party wiped out in their first combat encounter. Green: At this point we're just feeding adventurers to highwaymen.
