Finished up the latest illustration. The Cardinals, Vick and Maria (never mind the mismatched species, they're mutants.) are on the chase.
This would be a scene from the climax for Broken Utopia when I eventually get to drawing it. I need to actually write the thing first though.

Sketch for the next illustration. I got too excited thinking about a bike chase at the end of the big comic project's first arc, so I wrote it before finishing the first chapter's first draft.
I have feeling I draw faster if I'm not in a Discord call, and not dead tired. Odd huh?

Starting up what I would consider the second draft for my big comic project, working title 'Broken Utopia.'
The first draft was a novel, and a structural mess due to me having no idea how to tell a story when I started. I have a clearer picture now the second time around

I was watching a scene from John Wick and got inspired. Learning to draw splatters was interesting, and I weirdly got tripped up by layers more than usual here. I also combined a few sketching methods I was experimenting with together, and it came out fast and satisfying. #art #oc

This page was kind of rough to do. Drawing while dead tired sucks. Eventually it got there though.
I'm going to have to figure out my sketching phase when working digitally. Maybe it's as simple as not zooming in while trying to get rough shapes.

Legit the only way I'm able to focus on programming instead of story ideas and what to draw at work today is to write letters to the rubber ducky on my desk, acting as if its a real person.

Encryption Man Attacks page 11/22. Our hero Jeff has really done it now. Sometimes I wish I didn't have to sleep as much as I do so I can work on this more, but whatever. Comics are a hell of a lot more time consuming than expected, and I was already expecting it to take a lot of work. #art #comic

Some things bugged me about the last picture, so I made a few changes. Ironically, brightening up the background makes the entire thing look less deep fried to me.
