Hexed looks pretty interesting and not like a complete ripoff of Owl House. Y'all just mean.

"YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!"

Never understood what the context of such an iconic line is before? Then give the movie it's from a watch, because it's absolutely astounding!

A ★★★★½ review of A Few Good Men (1992)
It's amazing how Rob Reiner could go from directing a rock-and-roll mockumentary to a fantasy-comedy adventure to a psychological horror to such a very compelling court case film. And all of them end ...

Alright, I've got a challenge for all of you:

Name a legitimately good LIVE-ACTION talking animal movie, NOT COUNTING:

- The "Babe" films
- Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey
- The "Paddington" movies
- The Sheep Detectives

(And the Narnia films don't count!)

Some children's picture books are so well-known and beloved that they've become a part of everyone's childhood.

But there are always those picture books that aren't widely known, yet are a big part of your own personal childhood. Like these were for me.

A ★★½ review of Ocean Waves (1993)
The pieces are there, but the low budget due to it being a TV movie, the poor editing choices, and the poorly-fleshed out, even toxic, relationship do bring it down to being a bit of a slog.

Whether directing, writing, or just executive producing, Chris Miller and Phil Lord rarely miss.

"The Jungle Book 1967 Poster (1994 Style)"

My fan-made poster for Walt Disney Animation's "The Jungle Book," done in the style of the theatrical poster for the 1994 live-action remake directed by Stephen Sommers.

It has officially been 10 years, and Disney still has not made a live-action remake of its animated classics as good as this one.

A ★★★★½ review of Only Yesterday (1991)
Do you think Disney didn't release the English dub of this one back when they were releasing Ghibli movies in the US non-stop, because of that one little thing girls go through being openly discussed?...

A ★★★★½ review of The Muppet Show (2026)
Anybody who thinks this was going to suck hard simply because of Seth Rogen's involvement owes Seth Rogen an apology. He clearly understands the Muppets better than Disney has in the past ten years. R...

Starting tonight, I shall do another movie marathon throughout the year 2026.
This time, for another major animation company that's just as great as Disney Animation, and thankfully, has way fewer films for me to get through.

This is definitely gonna be a good time...

Well, folks? I've finally done it.
Over the course of nearly a year, I have successfully watched all 64 animated feature films from Walt Disney Animation Studios, from "Snow White" to "Zootopia 2."

Here is my official tier list/ranking of them all:

Just Finished Watching: "Legend - Director's Cut (1985)"

Despite some noticeable pacing and storytelling issues, Ridley Scott's fantasy cult classic greatly makes up for it with Jerry Goldsmith's score, some good themes, and many gorgeous, atmospheric visuals.

Tim Curry rules as Darkness.

Happy Children's Book Week!

This week, pick up a classic work of children's literature, be it picture book or young reader's novel, read it to your child, and bring them into a world of timeless imagination.

Just Finished Watching: "Heat (1995)"

Partially in memory of Val Kilmer and partially in preparation to hear the editor speak Wednesday night.

A bit complicated to follow at times, and dang, is it long. But the tense pacing and the powerful performances greatly make up for it.

Wherever I wander
Where I roam
I couldn't be fonder of this charming little piece of childhood.

What this Disney classic lacks in faithfulness to its source material, it makes up for in pure likability.
