People readily confuse these two things, fire adapted and fire dependent.
A plant that is fire adapted can typically survive low intensity and frequency fires.
A fire dependent plant requires fire to complete to fulfill a part of or the entirety of its lifecycle.

It's always fascinating to me when active protest sort of fizzles out.
While very much still active online -- where it doesn't do a whole bunch of good -- I just don't see a ton of Gaza protests.

So there is this new invasive bug, pasture mealybug (heliococcus summervillei),and it's going to be bad news bears for beef prices.
Most pasture forage in Texas -- one of the largest beef producers -- is non-native tropical/subtropical grasses. These just happen to be the mealybug's favorites.
