Not to be controversial but I think we should use tools and resources to make people's lives less miserable instead of more

Digital illustration of a white tiger in pastel colors. It’s colored like the transgender flag, having blue and pink stripes and pink eyes. The tiger is surrounded by peonies in subtle shades of pink and blue, and is depicted on a gray background.

How terrible…. My heart goes out to his loved ones 🕊️

Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today.

I'm so angry.
Statement from Tristan Kern de Gonzales Husband of Jonathan Joss My husband Jonathan Joss and I were involved in a shooting while checking the mail at the site of our former home. That home was burned down after over two years of threats from people in the area who repeatedly told us they would set it on fire. We reported these threats to law enforcement multiple times and nothing was done. Throughout that time we were harassed regularly by individuals who made it clear they did not accept our relationship. Much of the harassment was openly homophobic. When we returned to the site to check our mail we discovered the skull of one of our dogs and its harness placed in clear view. This caused both of us severe emotional distress. We began yelling and crying in response to the pain of what we saw. While we were doing this a man approached us. He started yelling violent homophobic slurs at us. He then raised a gun from his lap and fired. Jonathan and I had no weapons. We were not threatening anyone. We were grieving. We were standing side by side. When the man fired Jonathan pushed me out of the way. He saved my life. Jonathan is my husband. He gave me more love in our time together than most people ever get. We were newlyweds. We picked Valentines Day. We were in the process of looking for a trailer and planning our future. He was murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other. I was with him when he passed. I told him how much he was loved. To everyone who supported him, his fans, his friends, know that he valued you deeply. He saw you as family. My focus now is on protecting Jonathan’s legacy and honoring the life we built together. If your concern is how someone coped with trauma or how loudly they speak when recounting injustice and being ignored by authorities then you never truly cared about my husband. Jonathan saved my life. I will carry that forward. I will protect what he built. Tristan Kern de Gonzales

A wonderful bunny made by you! I adore your art and was so happy when I saw the finished product. Your little buns spark so much joy in my heart (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ
A drawing by LoppyRae! It’s my persona, as a cute lil bnuy. They’re wearing a pink bow on one ear and have a heart on their tummy.

Made a simple reference sheet for Fae. I even gave them a new outfit for it! The motivation to do this just suddenly hit me while I can’t sleep :P

#refsheet #characterreference #persona #blackart #pink #red #fairy #cute #art
Reference Image for Fae, showing front and back views. Their hair is brown, done up in heart shaped puffs and the lower half of their hair is colored pink. They’ve got on a reddish dress with a light pink underskirt, white thigh high socks and red shoes with bows on them. Reference Image for Fae, showing front and back views. This image is the same as the other, aside from a few extra details. Fae has pink wings sprouting from their back. The wings are not strong enough for flight but they love them all the same. They also have a long tail poking out of a hole in the dress.

Anyone can draw. Anyone. Yes, the person who is disabled can draw. Yes, you, who has only ever drawn as a preschooler. If you want to draw, you can get there, it's a skill and you have to dedicate time and effort to it, but you can learn.

Just made a quick little drawing. I had butterflies on my mind and this was the result :)
My persona (Fae) is the focal point. They’re wearing a sleeveless pink dress with a red belt. They’re surrounded by white butterflies. One of the butterflies landed on her head. The background is light blue with a screen tone pattern done in a slightly darker shade of blue.

Hey fellow artists! Just a reminder that when you’re resharing and promoting your art you are not annoying at all! You’re being kind and generous for allowing everyone to see the hard and beautiful work you put in every piece! Keep promoting your art and work. ☺️✨
