A friend is making an ordering website for a caterer and the sample flyer was all obvious AI generated pictures. I really hope they replace them with shitty photos of their own real food. That would tell me they make actual food and aren't just a scam website.

That looks SO good. Did you grow the toms? I've got 2 varieties going (San Marzanos and some kind of heirloom) and a pot of basil -- will definitely have to make a caprese salad! Will be a few weeks though - 1 or 2 got red, but the vast majority are green.

I remember when I first heard one of those guys. I'd seen them just a few times and I was always spellbound -- their size, their colors, the graceful stillness as they hunted. Then the bastard took off uttering the most horrifying GARAAAAHHR which sent my hairs on end lol

A friend does outdoor work all year round wearing a heavy jacket, even on hot days. The way he explained it was that insulation works both ways, it keeps heat out too. Where I am, we have a lot of ag workers and they also wear heavy clothing.

I've been buying the giant bags of shelled pistachios at Costco. I meant to use them to make baklava again, but I've also found them to be a really good after-dinner snack. Homemade is so much better, you can put in all the butter and salt you want.

Lucky you for finding it! I've always favored low profile rings for exactly this fear. My hands are in and out of my pockets all day and taller rings get hung up.

I've been getting Asian specific wrong number scam texts. One was inviting me over to get some dumplings, another had kind of an Asian vibe in the way they addressed me. Trippy
