It's been over a week of living on my own and honestly I did not realise how much just...background stress I had coming from sharing my space. Its not that they (brother and his partner) were particularly difficult to get along with, more constantly aware of when people needed spaces

I got another, slightly better video of one of my springtails. The red ones are bigger, slower, and don't jump. You can see movement in the background of some white ones but I haven't been able to get anything of them. I did notice a baby red one though!

I'm pooped. An important report broke at work and my manager thought she may have found the issue but doesn't have power bi desktop. I do because I need it to do something no one else knows how to do (yes also concerning) so we got me access to the report and off we went

Had to trim this little baby back for the first time, the fittonia in particular was going bonkers. Unfortunately the base moss did not survive being posted for the most part - debating whether to trim, or remove and replace.

i have finished clearing out the pantry and arranging it how I want it, and gone through cabinets to unearth more of my brother's things. I haven't braved the tupperware cupboard.

As of yesterday my brother and his partner have moved out! The place looks like a bomb has gone off and they're still ferrying stuff across over the next few days, but step 1 has happened

Had another flare up so steroids again for me. When I was given the script the doc commented on how it's a waste since there's 30 in the bottle and I only need 3. I'm down to 18 now though so... 🥴

Need to rant so jumping on here for a sec.
I've had some health stuff going on for a while. It's stuff I've raised with my normal doc before but he was largely unconcerned/dismissive which is frustrating because he's generally been pretty good in terms of other chronic issue management.

Divvy is being Divvy. She loves pats and starts rolling around on excitement sometimes, which makes giving her the pats difficult. Skye is puzzled by this behaviour.

Benefit of working from home: when you feel crappy if you have no meetings booked you can just stay in your PJs, and use your lunch break for a nap.

Two weeks of this headache means I get to do x-rays, MRIs and blood tests again. On the downside the blood test is fasting (why is it always fasting) but on the plus side I will take myself out for brunch after. 🫠

We are at the point of co-habiting on the bed, and there have been some attempts at playing together and grooming from both of them :)

I am on day two with a migraine and I think it's starting to fade but not entirely sure. I also have an eye test in like four hours so that will be fun.
