My friends' wives keep on asking me to dress them. Fashion and Watches are a hobby. I stated this as a place to discuss and offer advice for men in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond on how to dress well.

You shouldn't have a favorite brand but rather favorite brands that fit you best to your body type in each category. Also, tailoring is your friend. I am 6'0 with a 38" waist, 30" inseam, 46" chest, low waist, short legs, no hips, long torso, wide midsection and average shoulders. Know your body!
Today's advice: You don't have to have a "look". It's okay to want to be western one day, retro workwear another, sportswear a third, etc. And Mixing and matching can work great. Styling a Crewneck sweatshirt from a sportsbrand with a pair of Wrangler boot cuts and high top sneakers works.

Nike is dropping two good sneakers this week for the "dad" crowd. First, on Sept. 30 they are dropping the Tom Sachs General Purpose in black with a white swoosh. Second, on Oct. 2 they are dropping an absolutely fantastic pair of Air Max Goadome hiking sneakers in Midnight Navy.

Levi's x Sacai is dropping tomorrow (Sept. 30). The belted jeans look like a perfect pair of pants for travel (integrated belts are great when travelling). The loose midrise is a good fit for those of us who are not young and fit. Avoid the flare cut - that's a young man's look

Dig the new Barbour x Norbit collection. Great to see Japanese designers lean into Barbour's heritage and make something funkier without straying from function and tradition. IMO, this collection will be up there with Daiki Suzuki and Tokihito Yoshida's collabs with Barbour in the past.
