Any TS chances?

FWIW, I'm not challenging you, I am genuinely interested in the data source. I think you do one of the better jobs of all the local media weather reporters.
August 29, 2026 at 1:28 PM
I'm still interested in the sources for your statement that "private companies have filled a lot of the data holes" so much that model inputs and resulting forecasts haven't been impacted as much as the original poster implied. I tried to DM you, but you apparently have blocked that.

Hmm, let's see, 2 80 year olds died this week. They say things happen in 3s...
August 26, 2026 at 4:07 PM
The good news, though, is that none of them was due to a weather balloon launch. 😀

Anything???
August 25, 2026 at 12:52 AM
I'd love to see the sources you have on this topic, please.
August 24, 2026 at 7:08 PM
All right, it seems then that your objection is to the poster using reduced accuracy in models and forecasts as a vehicle to blame DOGE cuts? Or what am i missing? And if the former, would you argue that the DOGE cuts did not impact model inputs and resulting forecast model outputs?
August 24, 2026 at 5:18 PM
Okay. So are you "Pro Elmo" or are you anti people making the case for how these cuts affect them personally? Most folks on social media aren't going to get into a discussion re. "objective, scientific analysis" on a topic like meteorology that 90% of their readers wouldn't understand.

It'll be a cold day in hell...oh, wait.

"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government."

Only if it is an interview for a lifeguard position...or poolboy.

Rain can be dealt with. Will there be hail? Do I need my hard hat?
August 12, 2026 at 2:48 PM
And anyone is surprised by this? Expect more to come.
August 4, 2026 at 5:10 PM
Why post a "what-went-wrong" statement? Even last week in the middle of the heat, you said "not all areas will get the rain". That's the nature of monsoonal moisture...it's hit and miss. If you get some, great! If not, it's not Chris Bianchi's fault. Blame "Meteora," the goddess of weather.

After pardoning Tina Peters for the flimsiest of reasons, I figure he is an in-the-closet MAGAtt. He absolutely trashed any positive legacy he might have had.

The material is great! The venue (Youtube), not so much.
June 25, 2026 at 6:00 PM
And the dehumanization of the media continues....
June 24, 2026 at 5:36 PM
Thank you. But at least 2 caveats: 1) very small sample size (n of 114) with participants "self-reporting"; and 2) authors make a point of saying results "do not establish definitive causality." (frontiersin).
Clearly, some organized research studies needed before making this outright claim.
June 7, 2026 at 7:28 PM
What is your source for the cognitive issues related to finasteride? I found no such studies. Anything out there seems to be anecdotal.
June 7, 2026 at 6:36 PM
Why is Michael Bloomberg funding a lot of these ads? What's in it for him?
May 9, 2026 at 2:36 AM
And what kind of weather do you have in Mexico?
April 25, 2026 at 3:37 PM
Remind me again why the Concorde went bankrupt?
April 21, 2026 at 6:56 PM
What is your source for that quote, please?
