Trans people have fought and suffered and borne the brunt of the depravity of fascist excess (along with immigrants and Black people), and it looks like the most we can hope for is a decade or more fighting Democrats to restore rights we had in every state in the union as recently as 2020.

This is something I don’t emphasize enough but: all my magical girls are adults! Most of them are in their 20s, the youngest is 18, and the oldest in the books so far is in her 50s.
I wanted to readjust the messages of the genre for adults and also remove the element of losing the magic as you age!

this mentality is rampant not just in gaming but in books and movies too
its because everything is "content" so if its not new its not relevant or clickworthy in so many people's eyes which is just sad because there's so much cool stuff out there.
