I remember when we were trying to prevent fracking in my area, big "No Fracking" signs everywhere, protests, petitions, etc.

Actually, refusing to criticize dangerous actors in order to protect good actors just makes you look terribly untrustworthy & so makes people skeptical of good actors you defend as well because they know you wouldnt tell them if there WAS a dangerous actor because you literally just said you wouldnt
