I was ready to hail Tyler Thomas Taormina's CHRISTMAS EVE IN MILLER'S POINT a masterpiece after 45 minutes had passed. It tapped into something so true that no other holiday movie ever captured.

Unfortunately, the rest of the movie isn't very good.
