So I’m not all doom and gloom, I promise! Empires rise & fall, but there is always beauty, joy & peace to be found…always something to be thankful for! Today I’m giving thanks that my darling husband is well enough for his infusion. God is faithful, & His mercies are made new each and every day.

My former church celebrates this. Painful truths learned about power/control: Those who lust after it are willing to destroy the people & values they cherish most to obtain it. God have mercy on America. May He build in us the desire to once again choose love over retribution & neighbor over empire.
