Note to broadcast schedulers: If you're running a romcom marathon, do not put 2 movies w/same actor (M or F) back-to-back. It'll confuse viewers who doze off then wake in a new film world, unless it's explicitly a showcase for a particular actor, which is also weird. So don't do that either.

Met two lovely Yorkshire lasses while in Dublin this week. One of them works at Grassington House. Note: She does not know where the vet’s house is but that doesn’t stop people from asking. 😅

I'd remake #Sanditon using S1 plotlines and characters, going into back stories and unresolved side plots, and end S7 with a Charlotte-Sidney wedding. There'd be flashback episodes, maybe half a season in Sussex, definitely some West Indian and African locations, more London, more beach scenes.

Possibly worst scripted #ChristmasMovie kiss. Harried dad hires organization expert because he keeps neglecting his kids. Blah, blah, blah. Org expert turns up for the daughter’s Christmas play and reconciliation. She and dad have their first kiss while the girl’s play is still happening. 🙄

BTW, Anne was Tom Chapman's grandmother. Her death while he was away at war explains some of his emotional journey in "Our Hearts Are Full."

Dawson’s Creek was a weekly appt for me. I appreciated James Van Der Beek’s keeping just the right touch of campy teen angst. I didn’t keep up w/his later career moves and wasn’t aware he was sick. So, it’s a shock to learn of his passing. Prayers for his family. 🙏🏾💔
