Huh, was curious what the MSU/Toledo number would be but that’s a bit worse than I anticipated (mostly due to MSU’s defense being pretty good outside of the two big plays). Offensive efficiency/0 big plays is gonna be a problem all year.

He was beating margins in the non-Detroit urban and suburban counties but she cleaned up in Detroit and did much better in the rural areas than anticipated. Also some confusion on who counts what type of ballot in what order (different counties donut differently).

Barrett was there for the flip too. Was already running ads about being the “independent voice of mid-Michigan” and starting to cast token anti-Iran votes. Not getting one of Brink or Maasdam to drop is malpractice in this environment.

Truly one of those "what's the catch?" moments and finding out there wasn't a catch. Just 2K trying to murder Madden and nearly succeeding.

He really does manage to keep a lot of the country club folks that were his base in the House but also does well staying onside w/ MAGA. In a D+10 year probably doesn’t matter but D+5? 😬

Fair enough. Interested to see what happens in MI-7 too. Feels like a similar situation (and a relatively representative electorate) to the Senate race but with an extra candidate thrown in

About what I figured. I do think her numbers are a bit of a mirage but he has real issues with the electorate and Mike Rodgers is a relatively tough candidate. Still frustrated that McMorrow couldn’t thread the needle because I think she would have been far and away the best candidate in the general

Obviously disappointed with Sony’s decision (consumer choice is always good) but I am part of the problem and haven’t bought physical in years. The downsides are so obvious w/ the closed digital ecosystem but that hasn’t stopped me from enabling it…anyway, enjoy your perspective on these issues

At least w/ Mudryk there was the unknown due to his background….he could be a late blooming Ronaldo regen! Clearly didn’t work but this feels very different and even worse

I do think there’s frustration that the only part that they’ve got completely dialed are the toe nail offsides type of calls that people never really ever objected to. The other stuff was always subjective and carries the same problems that judgment calls have always had whether live or replay

In Michigan, Lalas being a local guy was definitely a thing too. I was 10 and remember having a shirt w/ the dog mascot on it but no recollection of any actual games.

Even living in EL, I’m kinda stunned at the number of Lawrence signs everywhere. Had a few door knockers for him (and El-Sayed) as well. Obviously signs /= votes but always figured it was a two horse race between Brink and Maasdam (which it still may be).
