i didn't learn who marx was for almost another decade (thanks texas public school system) and yet i still recognized the tendency of the rate of profit to fall. the system is so obviously rigged even a 16 year old can see it. closures, bankruptcies and layoffs are as predictable as the weather.

there is no future for art or humanity until we surgically extract the profit motive from our economy. unless we abolish this system where good business is unprofitable and naked rent-seeking scams are rewarded, we will be trapped in its orbit forever and the cycle of misery will repeat ad infinitum
