Happy Pride Month to all my friends and family, and a pleasant reminder that rainbow Jello - while iconically associated with Pride - is also quite nice for any setting or occasion. Seriously, make this.

Adventures in Baking: Classic yellow layer cake with swiss chocolate buttercream and chocolate mousse filling. Celebrating my coworker's graduation tomorrow after lunch. This was my first time baking, assembling, and decorating all in one night, so I'm pretty chuffed with how it turned out.

Opening weekend at Six Flags Great Adventure 2025! Going again next weekend for my first ride on the new Flash: Vertical Velocity coaster. Still had a blast this past weekend hitting all the classics. The king may be gone, but Medusa still reigns!

Adventures in Baking: Remembering my grandmother on what would have been her 105th birthday with the cake she was best known for, carrot cake with cream cheese icing. I've been told by people who thought they hated carrot cake that this fixes that - it's the pineapple that makes the difference.
