I miss being unapologetically (and even cringey) creative. But I am so afraid to be judged. Anything I share can be targeted, scraped, vilified, and held against me for some point I never had in mind when making anything.

What happened to just enjoying things?

And it's hard to stop.

How does one make social media healthy for themselves again? I keep telling myself that my phone is a tool, but it has become a drug that I find I can't escape from. Everything I need to do requires its use.

I miss writing, I miss making art, I miss having passion.

In those 10 years, social media has boomed in a way that is unhealthy for content creators, and consumers. That's just my opinion. I'm someone who has become addicted to the short-form content, and it's ruining my mental health, and my relationship with myself. I am consumed by constant comparison-

I don't know how other artists continue to make art when they have kids. I have just one, but at the end of the day, art isn't my escape. I remember when it was, but somewhere in the last 10 years, I stopped reaching for my biggest source of expression.
