My eldest sister was a classically trained chef. She went on to do courses in cake icing & decorating. She did every celebratory cake in our huge family for decades. Before she died aged 52 in 1996.

I really can't recommend Aldi enough to people who find themselves bursting into tears at the grocery store over food prices. I somehow got almost two weeks of groceries for $146 today, including canned drinks. Yes, it was more beans and pasta than usual, but getting out for under $150 was magical.
