Birthday color thing! The orange is my birthday, but I don't feel it fits me very well. The green is the day I was due and I feel that fits me much better and it's my favorite color!

It's red, white, and blue. It's for the VA. My dad said they give a blanket to any veteran that goes on Hospice care (or something like that).

I put this in timeout 1.5 yrs ago. The original border was frustrating me. Yesterday, I frogged the old border and today, I finished it! I'm very pleased with it. It was a stash buster project.

Finished! I had a lot of fun with this one!
Stitch is the modified moss stitch learned from Hooked by Robin.
Border is a shell stitch with a picot that I think I did wrong, but liked the look it gave.
Measures 40 x 56 inches.

My desk is kind of a disaster. I should really do something about it. I probably won't for a while. Executive dysfunction and all that...

What I'm actually most proud of is not on my phone. It's a cross stitch of a scene from BSSM: Another Story that I did for a Charity Quilt over on Sprite Stitch. I've posted it before.

This is a close second, though. I am insanely happy with how the ?s turned out.

I made myself a phone pouch to put on my belt for Faire! (I do a lot of Renaissance Festivals.) It's a little twisty for some unknown reason, but it still works. It also looks more emerald in person.
