Trump is a dictator. He emulates other dictators. He spares other authoritarians from tariffs. He talks highly of authoritarians and disparages leaders of democracies. That speaks of how he sees himself and what he aspires to be. We don’t need think pieces on his alliances. He betrayed his allies.
