I paused for a moment this morning thinking about the state of the world & how it can be wildly depressing & feel quite impossible. Then, I looked around & saw the sun illuminating a small meadow, quietly being beautiful. Did it solve anything? No. But it felt a little hopeful🕊️

Today was day 1 of a 3-week stint caring for my friend's colony garden while she's away on Summer holiday. I have envied folks for having one for over a decade and now I have a chance to experience the dream! I can harvest & keep everything that is ripe. This morning: sour cherries for a pie♥️🍒

That's a wrap for Tauron '26. Made it to the wee hours/early mornings both days🖤 I just wish we could have beam back to Berlin Star Trek styles instead of a sweaty 6 hour train ride. Not too shabby for 52!

Went to Luminiscence at Manchester Cathedral this evening. 45 minutes of the greatest hits and history of the city. I was unexpectedly emotionally overwhelmed more than a few times. I ugly cried to this. I ugly cried. To Oasis.
