God says to a man "you have died. Prepare for judgement. You will now confront your best self. The version of you that lived up to all your potential." An exact duplicate of the man pops into existence and says "hi, it's me! Your best self! I'm exactly like you!" He continues "turns out youa ctually did live up to all of your potential!" The original man puts his hands on his head and says "Jesus, that's depressing."

And childrer dying of pellagra must die because a profit cannot be taken from an orange. And coroners must fill in the certificate- died of malnutrition- because the food must rot must be forced to rot. The people come with nets to fish for potatoes in the river, and he guards hold them back; they come in rattling cars to get the dumped oranges, bu the kerosene is sprayed. And they stand still and watch the potatoes float bv, listen to the screaming pigs being killed in a ditch and covered with quick-lime, watch the mountains of oranges slop down to a putrefying ooze; and in the eyes of the people here is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. I would like to articulate one of the BIGGEST misconceptions about cat breed genetics by talking about the NEBELUNG!

An extremely rare breed with only SIX(6) in the whole US, and no breeders, yet one that thousands of folk online are convinced they own.

Your cat is NOT any breed, and that's okay.
A TICA registered Nebelung cat. They are extremely rare and very close to extinction. The breed was never popular, but since it's the only pure bred long coated gray cat, most folk assume all long coated gray cats are nebelungs. Several Facebook nebelung cat groups ranging from 6-15 THOUSAND members. It also has a post by a moderator actively dismissing any scientific post calling out that the cats are NOT Nebelungs.
