White supremacist cops take a minority citizen, drive him out to the woods as a threat, and leave him there.

No, it's not Mississippi in the 1930s, why do you ask?
4/ Fernando Vasquez, an 18-year-old citizen, was on break from work when agents chased and handcuffed him, then put him in their truck.

After realizing their mistake, the agents left the teen alone in the woods, with no way to get home.

Then they threw his ID out of the truck.

Can't remember who said it -- I think it was maybe @janecoaston.bsky.social? -- but someone said something to the effect of "do you actually miss that era or were you just hot at the time?" and that was like a triple-tap to center mass for me 🤣

Hey, I’m just asking questions. Ignorant questions, bigoted questions, questions that have been repeatedly answered for many years. Sorry, but I’m not listening to answers right now; I’m far too busy asking questions. It’s called being intellectually curious.

I do love watching UK conservatives demolish American ones. Idk the exact forces that lead to this dynamic, but its a delight to observe.

It's hard to tell which is weirder: the fact that these guys seriously suggest that models like Claude have consciousness/sentience or that they actually invest time and money (weird!) trying to convince the Pope as well as theologians and legal scholars of this belief.

Based on….what?
Trump: "We have inflation totally in control and we've done a great job. The thing I haven't done a good job with is explaining it to people. We have the most successful period of time for a president in the history of our country."

New in PN: Scenes from a personality cult

"The ads are unambiguously illegal — & that’s the point. Again & again, this regime has broken the law not just to accomplish some immediate goal, but as a dominance display to say to everyone: Donald Trump does whatever he wants, & nobody can stop him."

Trump’s taxpayer-funded agitprop is clearly illegal — and that’s the point.

Justice Barrett, please explain to us how this is merely a “preliminary” ruling?
