Well, nooners are the only good seltzer type drink, and they just cancelled themselves in my book. Barstool is trash.
Is this supposed to make me want to buy…anything?

Good, 10mph is too slow for something you pay for in units of time. You can pedal a bike significantly faster. It'll be fine. Menaces will continue to be menaces, just take their right of use away and let us all carry on.
Interesting: @ddotdc.bsky.social is proposing increasing the speed limit on the shared electric scooters from Hopp and Lime that you rent in D.C. For years it has been pegged at 10 mph, but new rules would increase that to 15 mph on streets while keeping it to 10 mph while on sidewalks.

Choose wisely.

More DC native nonsense. The folks who get elected represent the people who live here now. That's it. Period. Things change, and the status quo can always be improved upon. Progress.
In recent weeks, D.C. Democratic State Committee insiders have been arguing over arcane questions around bylaws, @alexkoma.bsky.social reports.

What's raising the stakes of the upcoming leadership election:
The drama in the local Democratic party didn’t end with the primaries
The fault lines between progressive and establishment Democrats have only deepened since the election.

I went yesterday and today because I was provided free tickets. This event was terrible from a spectator experience. They should have constructed far more grandstands and provided a means to actually see the cars on track. GA was terrible, concessions were bad. F1 events own whatever this was.

So mail in voting is bad and in person voting is bad. We should just not vote and have trump forever? Do I have that right?
Do not fall for it.

Trump has been laying the groundwork to justify massive interference in our midterms. It’s coming on Thursday. Don’t let him fool you.
