On friday, Prof Jason Arday was found dead.
Nine days earlier he resigned from Cambridge after weeks of relentless media hounding, saying it had reached "the limits of what any person should reasonably be expected to endure."

On 5 August the IOPC confirmed the Met officer who shot Chris Kaba will face no misconduct proceedings. Chris was unarmed. The statute had no backward reach—it was the IOPC's own policy that erased a live case.

NHS patients are refusing care from Black and Asian staff. The Society of Radiographers found it happening across the health service. Patients telling staff: "you shouldn't be here," "you're taking our jobs," "dirty foreigners" and "monkeys."

Farage claims Britain has a two-tier justice system protecting minorities. The data says otherwise. Black people are seven times more likely to die than white people following police restraint. This is IOPC data, not opinion.

Reform UK won support and seats on racist politics and an insurgent right positioning. But insurgency doesn't hold. It either takes state power or it fractures. Reform can't take power at the moment and Labour's ahead. The institutional machinery didn't break. So it's fracturing.
