You may think its semantics, but not understanding this, again, it what has made initiatives for consumer rights in court go up in flames. And ntw, they dont go into your house to take your discs away because itd be creepy and violates other rights you have. Its not because they technically wouldnt.

You said it, copy. Your license. A digital disc is a license. License doesnt mean digital, and it doesnt mean "someone can take it away". Your discs are licenses. No, if the distribution rights become an issue for a movie, they wont go into your house to take the disc. Doesnt mean its not a license.

Your library isnt transformed into a digital one, you nincompoop. If you sell your disc and the other person puts it in their console, you lose access to the game.

How is them allowing me to play the game I bought digitally, yet have it tied to me having the disc and not trade it "setting it up to kill off discs"? Like, that makes no fucking sense. Why do people just repeat what youtubers say?
