I'm incredibly uncomfortable with that "speech prof" white guy and his monetization of "why are men?" which is always sus coming from a man but especially when he's monetizing that shit and anyway this is part of it too.
I have a new enemy.
It's men, white men in particular, monetizing, on social media, repeating all the shit women have been saying forever and sounding like authories on the patriarchy. It's nice that you're less of a dick now but A) this is bottom of the barrel shit and B) platform the wife.

As a resource room teacher it's a common experience for me that students tell me I'm not a "real teacher" so maybe for Halloween I'll just wear an ordinary outfit and if the kids ask I'll tell them I'm being a teacher for Halloween. 🙃

Last Saturday night I saw Death Cab, and Sunday marked one year since my first Kesha show, my first concert outside of Christian music and Salmonfest. 🤣 So anyway I recapped my year of music and the venues and the miles I drove and I'm pretty happy with it all. Can only hope to top it going forward.

Was off my phone for 15 hours on an excellent queer first date that turned into a spectacular overnight. Got in my car to drive home, checked my phone, and found out Lindsey Graham is dead.
Not saying we made that happen, but. Now I've got to try it again. For science.

Yesterday in my local 4th of july parade my county's republican party ran a float with a giant image of trump's face on a mockup of a $250 bill and I live in a very red area and the crowd was dead silent as this float went by.
Boos would have been better. But that silence was more than I expected.

My kids keep asking me to buy fireworks so I told them that if it happens today, I will drop $100 on whatever fireworks they choose.
I never buy fireworks, especially for the 4th of July, but I'd happily make that exception.

I've hit the point where if any straight young woman asked my advice about kids, I'd suggest she choose either a live in partner or kids. Not both. Both only means adding weight to the overwhelming burden of the baby years. I wouldn't wish that shit on anybody.
