Look how inconsistent the colour is!

We also found the colour reproduction wasn’t great if you didn’t use the templates either…

Exciting! I do remember the time one of t’hubby’s books came out really badly and we had to reformat the cover using the cover creator. He was so disappointed!

No In Ghost Colours?

You do need to score the skins to stop them exploding in the oven!

I always bake apples in their skins. Core, stuff with butter fruit and spices, bake. Eat with cream or ice cream!

Paste it into the template file then spend hours checking that the formatting hasn’t got mucked up by pasting…. If you are my husband you also end up tweaking paragraphs to avoid widows anc orphans…

Break even? What is this strange concept? ;-)

Boris hates the cat carrier! Mews all the way. Soon as he’s in the vet’s room he’s fine and flirting with them…

Macs are virtually impossible to manage in any meaningful way, which is why they are only used in very specific industry settings…

Totally this. There’s a reason I use Linux at home….

Sadly we’re in a place where SSL is an important privacy feature, regardless of if the site has ecommerce. Any decent web host will support Let’s Encrypt certificates - which are totally free.

All our roses are pretty much over now, they had a good spring, but it’s been too dry for a second flush…

Just look at his production credits though - so much great stuff, and that's before you include things like the Strange Cargo albums and 'Pieces In A Modern Style'...

@nalsa.bsky.social I think it’s down to a generation that think punctuation is elitist not understanding what an em-dash (or indeed an Oxford Comma or semicolon) is for. They parse the unfamiliar as AI, despite the only reason AI uses it is because it’s common in the data they were trained on!

Obviously this is USian, but it’s a clear explanation. I normally use commas for the most usual use, em-dashes are more common in American, but my husband uses them a lot in dialogue to indicate a break in the train of thought.
