Fraebroda Doerdyrfsyn felt extremely wrong at first but mostly made me wish I could make Fraeswys a little bulkier in vanilla, just not to mroe levels.

Fraeswys felt extremely out of place in them around ARR but is more comfortable by now. Still a little bugged by having to eat more "properly" (slowly).
When she does have to dress up past her armor she'd much rather wear a suit. Claims it's "more practical for emergencies"; also just likes it.

last Starlight confirming Lominsan sailors use La Noscean oranges to prevent scurvy, when I'd given Fraeswys an orange habit from her sailing days for that reason, was some nice little vindication.

last Starlight confirming Lominsan sailors use La Noscean oranges to prevent scurvy, when I'd given Fraeswys an orange habit from her sailing days for that reason, was some nice little vindication.
Haven't really committed to it in-game yet, but writing a bit where Aymeric proposed with a sapphire ring the instant Fraeswys was preparing to propose with a ruby ring.
Felt clever that both were corundum, and then realized that's also just a Pokemon gen 😅

Given my usual long turnaround, for DT I experimented with writing linkpearl calls to Aymeric for each zone visit and after major events *while playing*. Also not publish-ready, it turns out, may never be; but I had fun! Plus it helped with remembering and digesting the story.

Painfully gradual, Fraeswys was suspicious of Aymeric at first, realized he was for real after he ran to the Vault himself and became friends, then... was surprised how much she missed him during the Tempest and finally acted on it after ShB.

Fraeswys would be terrifyingly drift compatible with Sadu. Also weirdly Gilgamesh, though they're definitely clumsier together.

This player needs a distraction and while I’ll head off the bed, I’ll leave with this #wolqotd: how does your WoL bounce back from extreme failure? Do they keep trying the same thing, all back and regroup, or maybe something else entirely?

Fraeswys can and does pick up Aymeric. Aymeric mostly can't, especially with her full armor and weapons, but he'd manage something if absolutely necessary.

I don't really have a lore reason for generally keeping Fraeswys's hands or at least fingers exposed. Mostly just character design - can be more expressive, shows her green skin (beyond her face) when much of it's covered by armor.

Besides canon, by the end of the Zenos battle in EW Fraeswys's consciousness was totally out of it, so her Inner Beast had to take full control to keep her going. They're on pretty good terms now, but Fraeswys is still a bit uncomfortable/worried about this part of her.

As a pirate, some level of honor might be right out to the elites, but Fraeswys has always believed in trying to live up to a code: Doing that, and becoming an adventurer instead, because it's how she could do the most good. Only fighting for a reason. Honoring the memories of those she's lost.

Fraeswys was too focused to be that impacted by most, did feel a lot of hope in Eden, but I think the most impactful was the joy of the Arcadion: less threat to the outside world, bit of a break from her heroic day job, getting to lean in to playing a heel and a pirate and enjoying the fights.
