My country has achieved the feat of making the most universally loved and respected charity in the land afraid for its own safety. And yet the dark pantomime of aggressive grievance and its media legitimation continues. If Hippocrates is a traitor for not cherry-picking lives, then are doctors next?

I am disgusted at how far right wing the BBC News and Politics shows are.
Promoting a fascist who urged a baying crowd to assault a woman and fck all is said about it.
BBC and their ‘presenters’ not journalists, presenters, are Nazi scum.
I know you will name one who isn’t but they are involved.

Farage’s ludicrous minions selling what’s left of their souls for coins, while either not knowing or caring that their boss secretly trousered five million for his ‘personal use’. He makes absolute twats of everyone who trusts him. And this James Orr character is supposed to be some sort of genius…

Mariana Mazzucato says Farage and Boris Johnson repeatedly misled voters and still haven’t been held accountable.

Her Channel 4 interview has gone viral after she called Brexit one of Britain’s biggest economic mistakes.

If 10yrs on, £Billions wasted and zero benefits later makes you angry enough about Brexit, then don’t be checking this out to see just how much we threw away, risked and lost, so we could crow about sovereignty and put flags on roundabouts instead.

Yes. There needs to be a very big “fuck off” to all of this racism-posing-as-intellectual-thought-or-legitimate-concerns nonsense. Make racism shameful again.

I'm so grateful to everyone in Clacton for re-electing me. As a thankyou, we are going to abolish Personal Independence Payments, which will be fantastic for the 10,000 disabled people who live in my constituency.

How would they save £50bn from welfare?
Which benefits would they cut?
Which hospitals and care homes are they closing?
Will nurseries reject 30 free hours now?

Last time they talked about tens of billions in savings they abandoned it six wks later

Polls open in Clacton, where Farage spent more than £10,000 in byelection against Count Binface – UK politics live
The Reform UK leader resigned as the MP for Clacton at the start of July and forced a byelection Yesterday Michael Shanks, a UK energy minister, criticised John Swinney, the SNP Scottish first miniser, for trying to get Andy Burnham to lift a ban on the Chinese firm Ming Yang building a wind turbine factory in the Highlands. Today Stephen Gethins, energy minister in the Scottish government, defended his boss. In an interview on BBC Radio Scotland’s Breakfast programme, Gethins said: The first minister is right to ask about this. This is 1,500 jobs in the north of Scotland. It’s also an area that is being transformed by that move towards offshore renewables, Scotland continuing to contribute. It’s an area which is, in general terms, important for security. Scotland is contributing to European energy security, which is a concern across Europe when you speak to leaders there. Why should I be judged, today or in history in the future, by Sky News and their ilk? Why should they be the people that decide my fate when, as I repeat, I’ve done nothing wrong. I’m being judged as being guilty every single day by newspapers, broadcasters and elsewhere. Continue reading...

Ugh. Farage has done nothing for Clacton except humiliate it. His idiotic by-election is basically a massive tantrum at being scrutinised over his v dodgy finances. He’s unfit for public office. He just wants power. This is all a waste of everyone’s time. He’s a loser even if he wins.
