This is the part that breaks me: Stephanie should still be here. Her family should not be planning a funeral. And we shouldn’t be sitting here wondering if the person who did this is going to walk free again because the system can’t seem to take violent crime seriously anymore.

I’d love to see how fast these prosecutors and judges would change their tune if it were their daughter, standing at that bus stop. Would they be talking about “leniency” then? Would they shrug it off as just another case? Not a chance. They’d be demanding justice just like the rest of us.

And don’t even start with these soft‑on‑crime policies. It’s bullshit. It’s flat‑out fucked up. It happens over and over — violent offenders getting chance after chance and innocent people pay the price with their lives. And then everyone acts shocked when tragedy hits. This is on DemoCRAPS.
