If this is really the “next Google,” then maybe stop demanding that everyone live in permanent panic while executives and politicians cash in on the hype. People deserve an actual plan for jobs, wages, and economic security, not another round of fearmongering dressed up as progress.

“The greatest economy ever” is a talking point, not a grocery receipt. If the Trump administration wants credit for the economy, Americans should be able to judge it by what they actually pay for food, gas, housing, and healthcare.

Imagine being president and getting angry because a news network won’t give your rallies the coverage you think you deserve. “Cover us, not them” sounds less like a media critique and more like a loyalty test.

Election security does not mean the federal government can expand its presence at polling places indefinitely. The real questions we should be asking the Republican Party are: What is the legal basis for this? Who oversees it? And who ensures that these powers will not be abused?
