almost forgot to share my favorite gift from the holidays, these beautiful Gamera box sets from Deanna. at least once a month for the last 3 years i’ve seen these at our Kinokuniya and hemmed & hawed over buying them. feels amazing to see them on my shelf.

do you like Gorguts? their early work is a bit too Morrisound for my tastes but when Obscura came out in 98 i think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically.

2024. a year of incremental changes, small transitions, getting in touch with my authentic self. my best friend and soulmate @deenuhhh.bsky.social was always by my side. no matter what i’ll say this every year: i can’t wait to spend my life with such a beautiful supportive witty passionate human.

over the weekend D & I drove down to Lockhart to visit this horror-themed bookstore called Haunt Happy and it might just be one of the coolest/cutest places i’ve ever been in my life. here’s a thread with some pics—i may have written too much in the alt text lol.
