I've been ill and only spotty Internet access. I'm growing more desperate. Car insurance and a payment plan payment for utilities are due in two days and if I don't pay them I lose my auto loan and car and my lights will be cut off. I need $30

The only thing I used AI for was the final layout and a grammar pass, work I couldn't do alone or afford to pay for.

What I'd forgotten: fewer people read now, I'd lost the circle who'd buy it, and many would assume AI wrote it. Writing is nearly all I do. Five of these stories continue ones from my first collection, and many are drawn straight from my life. (7/14)

I've downsized my life to almost nothing. I eat very little, and what I do eat is cheap, empty calories that do more harm than good. I wash my laundry by hand. I've neglected my teeth and my health in general, and it shows. (2/14)
