Arbeloa seemed to like a really attacking full back based on the heat maps in some of the bigger games (v City, v Atletico etc). Will be interesting to see what he does. We were linked to Fran Garcia before he went to Betis, so perhaps we’re in the market for a left back and Jedi or Sess are going..

I thought Diop was standout at times for Morocco but Jedi has been off the pace for over a season now. Would actually prefer Sess to play ahead of him going into next season. Especially given his fitness and after a major tournament

And Spence and Kudus were giving the PSG fullbacks a hard time, thought Johnson would have had a bit of pace towards the end of the game to get in behind. I’m hoping it’s just fitness as he’s a good FPL rotation option if he does play, I think the fixture against Burnley at the weekend will tell us

Semenyo is a good shout, though I want to see how defensive Bournemouth play after losing most of their defence. Only 1 goal in last 3 friendlies and it was an OG. Liverpool and Spurs in first 3 games, think I would rather rotate to Semenyo after the first int’ break, okay run of fixtures after that

I also have Brennan, thinking of switching to Mitoma or Minteh and upgrading a 5m defender to Pedro Porro… not sure if that’s too rash but I’m very surprised he didn’t even come off the bench last night 😬

Liking Kudus, especially with Maddison injured, kind of wondering if I need a Spurs player myself, only time will tell!
