Parental sleep deprivation is real. But once I got on a 6-hour sleep cycle I stayed on it for many years longer than parenthood required. It took the pandemic to break the cycle. Now I can’t imagine how I did that.

Ok I read it, thanks, and it doesn’t support your asssertion. It said 72% of Americans supported going to war, which (a) is far from everyone and (b) does not directly address wmd. The rest was about politicians, who were motivated to lie about their beliefs and were eventually caught doing so.

He didn’t convince “DC”; he either convinced the Bush administration or they found it convenient to pretend he did. We’ll never really know which. Millions of Americans thought it was a fake-out at the time, and we were right.

It’s not always an affectation. Some people really want to have a second person plural pronoun for clarity and it’s the best existing candidate. Youse and Yins are way too regional or dialect-bound.

I haven’t heard much about customer satisfaction with the Gen5 Prius. I’ve only had one (2022/Gen4), and it’s been great. It would be unfortunate if they declined in quality.

I go to music clubs in NYC and increasingly for the ones that serve food it’s a dollar minimum for drinks and/or food. But you can go the Bitter End and meet the 2 drink minimum with club soda and they don’t charge mixed drink prices for it.

It must be terribly sad for real journalists to watch freelance flacks, which is all influencers are, step into their shoes and have the public just say “uh-huh, whatever.”
