Any aspiring writers please be aware of predatory publishing offers and especially editorial services as AI becomes more prevalent. A publisher and editor worth their salt will want to work with you for the writing you do and not for what they want to commodify it as.
I had to make a very difficult decision yesterday. I had a publisher reach out with a book deal. A real one, where there are no upfront costs on my end. They proofread it, print it, put it on book shelves, list it on the digital stores and send me checks in the mail
