All I'm saying is don't beat yourself up if you can't draw/paint/write/etc. as much as you'd like to. Lulls in productivity will never, ever diminish you as an artist.

But turning to generative AI definitely will.

Every piece of art rendered by a living being is important, no matter how trivial or silly it may seem.

Those doodles you made in your notebook, that sloppy sketch you scribbled on your lunch break, those failed attempts at nailing a pose or expression; you made them real all on your own.

If you feel guilty for not creating because of that art block, that anxiety, that loaded schedule, anything that's been keeping you from making art; don't. You're still an artist. You still have integrity. That's something they will never have and it angers them deeply.

You're still valid.
