All you've done by dumping them at a farm is force the farmer to become the witness to your cat dying. You get to pretend that your pet is living an idyllic life catching mice in a little red barn, while the farmer gets to watch as yet another unwanted dumped cat inevitably vanishes from their farm.

Your house cat cannot just adapt to barn cat life. They will starve, or get trampled by livestock, or get got by coyotes, or wither away from parasites, or a myriad of other injuries will just pile up until they die abandoned and in pain.

also I think the rind would be a great addition to a soup or maybe a cream sauce, a la parm rinds. I hate the idea of any part of my sucessful cheeses being a total waste, so finding things customers can use the rind for is important for my own peace of mind.

thinking a ground rosemary initial coat to prevent the Pigpen-esque shedding in the cave, and then a fresh rosemary coating for final sale for that pretty pretty green, also need to up the salt level (as expected)
