I believe that questions about animal research are not just an animal welfare issue, they are a welfare of science issue.

I had a really interesting interview with Dr. Dana Kolsky. Between claims by animal researchers and animal advocates, critical issues for human health and scientific progress go mostly unspoken. Dana asked brilliant questions. Here's the podcast.

I had a really interesting interview with Dr. Dana Kolsky. Across the rift between animal researchers and animal advocates, critical issues for human health and scientific progress go mostly unspoken. Dana asked brilliant questions. Here's the podcast.

Here's a thoughtful take on a contentious topic by @mbolotnikova.bsky.social .... www.vox.com/future-perfe...
Could lab monkeys soon become a thing of the past?
The Trump administration might actually — yes, really — change science for the better.

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.

I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

Watch this to the end.
Actor Mandy Patinkin’s plea for Jews to consider how what Netanyahu’s Israeli government is doing to Gaza is not just harming Palestinians and killing kids — but also endangering Jews across the globe.

A child dies of malnutrition every 15 seconds, as 185,535 boxes of special food for starving children are stacked in a warehouse in Rhode Island, paid for by American taxpayers. After shutting USAID, the Trump administration is just sitting on the boxes. www.nytimes.com/2025/06/25/o...

Tragic…
some story behind the numbers:
In just a few days, close to 300 USAID teammates let go.
They represent the best in US civilian capacity, responding to disasters&conflicts - many served in hardship posts, to save lives.

While USAID may be changed forever,
their spirit remains resolute.
