I'm a musician/composer but I'm not famous. I live on a lake in MS where I talk to herons & lizards & take their pictures. I tell them that humans are not all bad, but don't trust us. I'm also a 3D animator & I like to make stuff. I like kind people.
Female Black Widow - Not as deadly as often depicted, but can definitely make you ill. The Brown Recluse causes more trauma in humans, though you do have to have a predisposition for its venom toxicity. They are very common around here. I've been bitten, but luckily I don't have the vulnerability.

Not too friendly. Had one in a jar on a table that I was trying to photograph with a macro setup. Took the lid off the jar while she was near the top so I could get a clear shot. Trying to get focus. I couldn't find her in the lens. She was running at light speed right towards me across the table.

Yes, I'm familiar. There was a Christian Science church down the street from where I grew up at the corner of Princeton and Perkins. Do you remember Kelly Brother who worked in the art department at WKNO? He was a member and let me into the sanctuary so I could sample the organ for my Korg DSS-1.

Believe so. Last time I stepped in to Sun Studio was in the '80s or '90s. I bought a Strata 12, a rather rare Fender Stratocaster 12-string. I need to play that puppy, but I need to change the strings which is a pain.

I meant John Hampton. Been thinking of transferring that 2" tape to digital as I found a place that'll do it for a flat $200 per tape. The drums alone could be worth saving for overdubs.

Remember when I had 2 hours of recording time at Ardent? I believe Paul Hampton was the engineer. I remember him telling me how incredible my amp sounded, a vintage old tube Ampeg Gemini VI. We recorded drums, bass and guitar for four songs I believe. Didn't have time to complete anything.

Well good for him... and good for her. Kids are a bold move. I wish them well. I often regret not settling but I always fall for the artsy type that doesn't want kids... or to stay in a relationship long.

I wore a long sleeve wetsuit top and some wetsuit shorts and a mask. Wasn't that deep, maybe 10 ft tops. Used to do it a lot when I was a kid but I really don't care for it at all now. Too creepy and the temperature drop makes it creepier.

Septic tank is holding. Had to reinforce the boathouse this past winter, going to replace cables & pulleys before I put the boat back. Sailboat blew off the lift this past week during a 60 mph straight line wind. Amazingly it wasn't damaged but I had to dive to get the rudder which sank. Yep.

Septic tank is holding. Had to reinforce the boathouse this past winter, going to replace cables & pulleys before I put the boat back. Sailboat blew off the lift this past week during a 60 mph straight line wind. Amazingly it wasn't damaged but I had to dive to get the rudder which sank. Yep.
It's under a tent at the cabin where I've been working on it. Had the motor all apart to replace the water pump and give it a good work over. I've removed all the chromed pieces and repainted them and I'm about to repaint all the blue. Replacing the electrical and steering cables, too.

Just curious if it has the same effect on anyone else. It definitely begs for at least a smidge of discussion. I just found it so unique and psychedelic and not sure. I've heard a classical piece that morphed in and out of traditional sensibilities into swirling vortexes of notes.

It's not really a morning walk kind of piece. It's a very intricate classical piece with shades of avant-garde. The sound is very organic and the performers s and particularly the lead violinist are pretty incredible. You probably won't like it...😜

I swear by Elixir Polyweb, 12-53. They're more expensive but they last three times longer with a just-broke-in sound. But it's absence of squeak that I must have. But you may not want to try them because they are like World's Best Cat Litter - there's no going back.

That doesn't look like a telecaster. You just picked that up? Second hand? If it sounds good to you, it sounds good. Best thing going for any guitar is playability so if the action is good, the intonation is good and it stays in tune... there you go.

BTW - guitar was a gift from Susie Howe. It had been in her attic for years - her Dad's I believe. 1964 Harmony with a great aged solid top. I did a major refurbishment replacing the fretboard with a True Temperament fretboard (Google), adding a truss ride, new bridge, new finish... plays great.

Playing & composing a lot. Not getting much recorded, but I'm close to putting out something I can consider an "album." Got to get it done soon so I can send out CDs with some funky artwork & people with CD players are disappearing. And the fingers aren't going to stay nimble, that's for sure.

Hope you get the right advice from the right doctor & get the right surgery. I was seeing a few specialists for a while myself, mostly gut problems & sleep disorders. I'm on the tail end of a infected lymph node in MY neck, speaking of throats... been on antibiotics & two rounds of prednisone.
