Very excited to share some writing after so long!

This is an early draft—switching to 3rd person still pending—of a scene that might or might not stay. It made me chuckle, so I thought I'd share :p

Hanging out with the high school friend group from a (very closeted and unaware) Jimin's POV:

Jungkook backhugging Jimin in a Run BTS episode. Jungkook is smiling shyly; Jimin is smiling endearingly and smugly. “If you think about it, we're all here just celebrating that Dongmin is finally gonna get some.” I was reaching for the sauce when Minjun said that. It landed on a lull when everyone was taking a bite. We had gathered at Minjun’s place after the auditions were over and ordered spicy ribs with Dongmin’s dad’s credit card. My movements slowed down unconsciously to fit the lilt as I dipped the rib into barbecue and retreated to my spot by Jeongguk’s side. Across the center table, Woojin swallowed before blurting likely the first thing that came into his mind. “Bro, I don’t wanna be anywhere near Dongmin’s business.” A sigh. “I am not gonna get some!” “‘Course you aren’t, virgin boy.” “What’s stopping you?” Minjun asked. “Are you a eunuch?” “What the hell?” Dongmin asked. “He’s just curious about your thing, Dong-ah.” “Don’t you have your own thing?” Dongmin asked. “Why are you curious about mine?” “I’m not curious,” Minjun retorted. “Pull down your pants real quick; he wants to check something.” “I won’t do that,” Dongmin denied. “Sounds like you are curious.” As the guys went on and on about each other’s junk, I lay back against Jeongguk and put my head on his shoulder. I licked my fingers clean one by one, the grease coating my mouth. From my periphery, I could tell the grease wasn’t the only thing glued to my lips. Generic open plan kitchen and living room where the scene takes place. It has a large window at the background, and it's set in light colors.
