HSHDHDJD YEAH ITS DEFINITELY WEIRD…I hate to say it, but the kny anime dub was absolutely full of ‘anime dub voice’, and I really wanted to like it. Makes sense bc they hired the Usual anime dub VAs. I think A lot of them are in like 5+ other animes😭

Ajjsjsjs yeah I find that western animation does more than just lip flaps so it would be hard to match them for a Japanese VA, so I feel like they’d go all out. And then with Japanese animation it’s just a flat open and close so everyone just goes for matching it jdjdjdjdj

But hey, maybe I’m wrong and English dub VAs arent actually that talented and that’s their peak performance 😭
