In U.S. history, some white people were enslavers & other white people were abolitionists.

White people like JD Vance who think teaching about America's history of racism shames white kids should explain why they think white kids will associate more with enslavers than with abolitionists?🤔

The left better start figuring out how to weaponize today's decision rather than just (rightfully) criticizing it.

- Go back into Judge Kaczmaryk's court to dissolve all of his nationwide orders.

- Pass gun bans and insist any order applies only to plaintiffs.

It'd be fantastic if we could get an oppositional political grouping of some sort to do anything at all against fascism, besides just making more pretty speeches and filing lawsuits, wouldn't it? Here's a list of few thoughts I came up with at random in that dept: www.reddit.com/user/gberlin...

I'd be sympathetic to Trump's position if he weren't an arrogant moron and an index case of Dunning Kruger Effect. Because he's not wrong to say that Ukraine has to come to an agreement WITHOUT any ironclad "security guarantees" any better than what it already has right now

The problem with America’s legal system

To practice law:
—4 year degree, take LSAT, 3 year JD, pass BAR, buy malpractice insurance, total cost ~$300K

To enforce the law:
—Here’s paid 13-week training & a gun

To write the law:
—0 qualifications needed, a billionaire can buy your seat

I believe Kara Swisher reported recently that in one of her last interviews with Musk, he explained how he had made peace with AI, after concluding that it was not going to go out of its way to "destroy" humanity, but only treat it like a bulldozer treats anthills in the way of Progress.

Given the average ages of Elon's Doge army child-soldier wrecking crew, it's time to revise that old heartwarming chestnut about villages and children: it takes a child to raze a village!
