Members of the Patriotic Alliance are stopping cars with non-white people in them and harassing them like this.

This is a hate crime, arrest these people.

The writer turned anti-trans activist JK Rowling's FAQ is raising a lot of questions already answered by the writer turned anti-trans activist JK Rowling's FAQ.
JK Rowling putting up a disclaimer about having mold in her castle in the FAQs section of her website is satisfying.

She was so bothered about the mold she learned how to blur her backgrounds, now this.

Bullies are such pathetic creatures.

There used to be this whole bit in the centrist/moderate bible about how you shouldn't, you mustn't, blame the voters. Seems to have been memory-holed around 2017.
In 2020 it was better for Dems to lose because they needed to be punished for nominating Biden.

In 2024 it was better for Dems to lose because they needed to be punished for Gaza.

In 2026 it was better for Dems to lose because they needed to be punished for candidates flaking on trans rights.

Lily Wachowski is so cool.

Most celebrities use high profile interviews to be like "it was such a pleasure to work with so and so on such and such" and she's like "JK Rowling funds trans genocide and Elon Musk is a fascist misrepresenting my work to destroy the planet"

Let her make more movies.

As with whatever else the government and the opposition parties and the media and the courts and business leaders all say and do these days, the defeat of the Assisted Dying Bill tells us that the animus of the ruling class is cruelty, is to induce as much suffering as they can.

A lot of MPs will be annoyed that they didn't make this list - what an incredible badge of honour for the next election.

The Green Party appears to have opened itself up to significant legal liabilities by this unwarranted suspension.
‼️Statement RE my suspension from the Greens.

I was suspended for the 'crime' of being a trans woman who ran for a women's place. The "media interest" in my gender was cited as the sole reason for my suspension.

I compare again to the Salt Path: no-one went “we got tricked! It must be that feminism has gone too far!”

But if an organisation swallows a tall tales from a - gasp! - black man, wow, must be antiracism going too far. We can’t possibly have been gulled by one of *those*.

It's probably far too much to hope that Burnham will get rid of the Blairite imposition of "Labour Party Chair". The actual Chair of the Labour Party is Shabana Mahmood (until the next Conference).
We haven't had Labour Party chair yet, have we?
Burnham’s cabinet is the first to achieve gender parity. And the Office for Equality and Opportunity will move to the MHCLG with Bridget Phillipson remaining in post as Minister for Women and Equalities. Here’s our IfG breakdown of what yesterday’s announcements mean for women in government … 🧵

If Burnham fails, Labour is going to need a truly fresh face, someone who is guaranteed to be loved by ordinary people and is completely untainted by the Westminster bubble and I think it has to be Steve Rotheram's grandbaby.

They're all going on about how Burnham is the fifth PM in four years, but it actually feels like he's the first PM since Johnson. Truss, Sunak and Starmer were just so fundamentally unsuited.

People really misunderstand what Blue Labour is. It's not the Old Labour Right, bar a few outliers who were so far out BL can't even reach for them as antecedents. It's not old Labour of any sort. It's the communitarian strain of Blairism, and before that the communitarian strain of Thatcherism.
