What are the odds that Trump will do a deal with the devil and resign, provided that Vance will pardon him for any past and future offenses? If the Dems win big in the midterm, the writing is on the wall for him. I think he's bored with the job and can't solve the problems he's caused. Time to go.

I don't understand why allegations of sexual assault bring down almost all politicians except Agent Orange. Why is he exempt?

I will suspend my use of dollar bills when Trump's signature begins to appear on them. I am surprised, however, that he didn't have his picture replace Washington's.

Wondering about torpedos in intl. waters, so I looked it up: Lawfully sinking a ship in intl. waters without being at war is the exception, not the rule. Outside self‑defense, piracy, statelessness, or UN authorization, doing so would almost certainly be considered a violation of international law.

I watched Hegseth this morning (he was on every channel). I noted him say we had "complete air superiority." Later, Gen. Caine said we had achieved it at the edges, and were now going to move inward. Did he just refute his boss? That's OK. His boss is an idiot and so is his boss's boss.

Many are equating ICE to the Gestapo. The more accurate comparison is to the SA (Sturmabteilung), or "storm troopers." The Gestapo didn't make a big show. They just quietly investigated people and then disappeared them. Note that the SA was eventually purged because they were too powerful.

What ever happened to Jim Jordan's "weaponization" committee in the House? It seems like he's taking a very low profile nowadays.

ICE is nothing more than legalized Proud Boys. They ignore the law, trample on rights, then dump citizens in parking lots hoping they won't know enough to file civil complaints. And when they kill somebody, there is no accountability. That has to be the scariest scenario in my lifetime.

So they can't comply with the law because all that redaction is so difficult , but they've already tried and convicted a poor woman who has only been dead a few hours. To Minister of Proganda Noem: How's the ICE agent who got run over doing? I'll send him a card. What hospital is he in again?

When Hegseth sobers up, he needs to take a look at UCMJ Articles 90 and 92. Then, for casual reading, he can check out the decision in United States v. Calley with regard to illegal orders. Is the killing of civilians in boats legal if they haven't been given due process?

Early in my career, I was a history teacher. Later, I transitioned into IT and have worked in that area for 40 years. Little did I know that the concept of versioning, so ingrained in IT, would one day apply to history as well.

This is like a burgler who goes to court and uses the defense that he shouldn't be convicted because it will be very difficult to return what he stole.
