Who the fuck thinks dem politicians are too "liberal"? I know they actually mean too far to the left. But dems are center right at best.
They aren't weak. They are just republican lite. They only exist to keep actual people on the left from gaining representation.

This would have been a nice idea 20+ years ago. It's too late for that now. There's zero chance of getting anything like that put into law in this political climate. Even if somehow the Dems took power tomorrow they'd never do it. The only way to stop this now is with direct and final actions.

Good point. But at the same time governments give Amazon tax breaks all the time. Can't say they are not massively profitable. It's almost like the only factor is if the elected officials benefit or not.

In fact, the oil companies knew about the greenhouse effect 40 years ago. Rather than do anything productive they started a campaign to make sure nothing was ever done to stop it.

It isn't hubris. It's a fact. And those "scientists" you are referring to work for the oil companies. They told you to not use straws to shift the blame from them to individual consumers.

This isn't the gotcha you think it is. It can be charged from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes. You get 250-300 miles on a full charge. So just plan out stopping for meals/bathroom breaks/stretching your legs out according to available fast chargers availability.

I don't believe anything would end his presidency except the end of his life. I suspect there are some very powerful people who would be exposed if the entire thing were released. That's the only reason he is stopping it.
