Eyes on ICE: Train-the-Trainer - Immigrants' Rights · No Kings
Abusive immigration enforcement poses a threat to us all but places non-citizens at particular risk. This session will equip participants to train others on core Know Your Rights topics such as the ri...

What happened to common sense? Are we really going down the road of authority and billionaire rule?

Another day of chaotic news…and another painted rock with a George Orwell quote…

I’m still fuming. Jake Tapper interviewed Ron Johnson and Mike Johnson about the House budget bill. Not once did he ask a question about the obvious GOP commitment of cutting taxes for the rich over the basic needs of their constituents. C’mon Jake…not one question?

As a stress reliever in our current environment, I like to paint rocks with inspiring words and quotes. Here’s to a natural environment..

My peaceful walks are still interrupted by Trump yard signs…but not as much. A bit of hope???

Corruption seems to be the “name of the game” in DC politics. The biggest contributors to the GOP cause will get their needed “carve outs” for tariff relief and the rich keep getting richer. Once again…follow the money.

America needs to be kind…but with a spine. The Hands Off protesters showed that spine and did it peacefully.

It seems to me that 40% of America wants the US to go back to the 19th century with isolationism, tariffs and the gilded age. History has a way of repeating itself.

Why aren’t the American taxpayers questioning the deal made between our government and El Salvador to imprison immigrants picked up by ICE. Not only is due process ignored but the money spent is excessive and seems to benefit the prison system in El Salvador.

I so hope that the Wisconsin voters come through for us. The money grab needs to end.

Thank you Cory Booker, our Senator Good Trouble. Your fight is a glory to see and it’s almost 24 hours.

I wonder if sales are up for the “Hillary Was Right About Everything” hats. Just a passing thought.

True strength is displayed by owning up to mistakes and doing better. Blaming the “other” is weak and everyone knows it, except maybe the current regime.

This new cabinet is like the movie “The Breakfast Club”…only a lot older and not as smart.

Americans hit new low in happiness. Gee, I wonder why???

“Only thing we have to fear is fear itself” is a famous FDR quote and it’s on the forefront of what we are feeling…whether it’s on the street, in leadership, or in just speaking with friends and family. We have to get back to “what would love do now” and it’s as simple or complicated as that.

This is the moment 30 million people got healthcare.

I remember.

The GOP has all the power. Why didn’t the Dems use what little leverage they have to push for a few changes on the budget deal so that a shut down would be avoided. But, spring break happened and it was so much easier to just go home.

I heard that Canadian travel to US is down 23% this month. Don’t blame them and as a desert dweller in the wintertime, I miss our Canadian snowbird friends and so does our economy. Stock market also dropped and tariffs are up. Where is Congress and where is our common sense???
